Martin Doherty, one of the founding members of the band ‘Chvrches’ and Kailee Morgue, alt-pop singer songwriter who got her start on Republic Records both venture into new territory with their band “The Grimms”

This project blends the shoegaze sound of the early 90s with abrasive post-industrial pop. Tackling themes such as the polarity of good and evil through religious imagery of the late Victorian era, Doherty’s production creates the perfect melodramatic landscape for Morgue’s perspective on hot button issues. Making their start in opposite worlds, this duo comes together to pay respects to the sounds that came before them while simultaneously aiming to break the mold.
